BioI have lived in Brooklyn, Staten Island, Joisey, and now I am in Weschester, just across the tracks from Yonkers. Amazingly, I never picked up an unfortunate tri-state area accent.
My wife, myself and our pet hamster, Nigel (who turns out to be a "she") share an apartment near the town of Tuckahoe, NY, which would seem somewhat suburban if everyone didn't talk like they were from Brooklyn.
